EXNER started making furniture in the city of Kutna Hora in 1914, where the company, founded by Vaclav Exner (1889-1963), was first registered as a cabinet-making firm, only later to focus on the production for bedrooms and living rooms. The property was restituted to the daughter of Vaclav Exner in 1993 and this tradition was revived through intense efforts by the founder to make high-quality furniture using progressive mechanical facilities. Since 2004 EXNER Furniture has been owned by the firm Hon a.s. based in Skripov near Opava. Since 1 October 2009 we have been manufacturing EXNER office furniture in the company HON – nabytek s.r.o.
For the past 20 years the brand EXNER has been synonym for the top quality office furniture of distinctive design. EXNER products made using the most modern technology have received a number of awards over the last several years at various trade fairs and exhibitions and it enjoys a long list of satisfied customers not only in the Czech and Slovak Republics, but also in many other countries in Europe.
